If you’ve visited Maui in the last 30 years, you may have seen the famous red biplane towing the T-Shirt Factory banner over the beaches of Maui. The pilot was Harold “Oly” Olsten, founder and President of the T-Shirt Factory.

Oly opened his first store on Maui in 1972. His philosophy was simple, to extend the aloha spirit by selling quality T-Shirts at reasonable prices. After over 35 years in business on the island of Maui, the T-Shirt Factory has grown to nine retail stores, still with Oly’s orginal philosophy.

The T-Shirt Factory Maui is family owned and operated and has been a trusted part of the Maui business community since its humble beginning.
